What is a Web Developer?

A web developer is a professional who designs, builds, and maintains websites and web applications using programming languages, frameworks, and tools.

Web development has evolved dramatically since I began programming in 1999. What started with basic HTML and simple scripts has transformed into a sophisticated discipline involving complex frameworks, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

As a full-stack developer, I work across the entire technology stack - from front-end user interfaces that visitors interact with, to back-end servers and databases that power applications behind the scenes.

My journey began during the first internet boom, where I learned the fundamentals at companies like Flyyy.com and Atropos Spa. This early experience laid the foundation for founding Syrus Industry in 2004, where I've led countless web development projects for clients across Italy and Europe.
